Designer’s notes
This necklace definitely has a very Baroque theatricality as well as a delicate intricacy. My inspiration was antique lace, used as ruffs or cuffs to add a touch of drama to outfits some 500 years ago! I like the mix of open and closed shapes and the different sizes, which echo the way lace looks when it is arranged layer over layer.
