My Twin Acorn and Oak Leaf Pendant Necklace tells the story of the oak tree, with a pair of acorns hanging in front of a delicate oak leaf. The chain fastens with a twig-shaped T bar.

Trace chain - l 440 mm w 1.1 mm

Designer’s notes
Much of my work takes its inspiration from nature, whether leaves, flowers, fruit, insects or the sea and seashore. Here I combined two of the motifs from my Woodland Collection – oak leaf and acorns – in a necklace that tells the story of our wonderful emblematic English oak tree. The twin connected acorns have been interpreted as sisters, partners or friends – or just as acorns, of course!

You made these for me as a present from my children for a significant birthday. My parents have a huge ancient oak tree at the end of their garden. These charms will always be a reminder of my childhood home. Thank you so much.

Delicate and exquisitely made

This necklace is very dainty- restrained and delicate. I chose the polished silver chain and oak leaf, with oxidised silver twin acorns. The contrast highlights the detail of the acorns, adds interest and gives the necklace an air of being much more expensive than it is. An absolute bargain at £110. As an “FYI”, the acorns are one piece (I wasn’t sure if they were separate, as the leaf is). The fastening for the chain is a very pretty, rather sweet “twig-effect” piece of silver, so I don’t mind when it works it’s way round from the back of my neck! My one observation would be that it would be great to have a choice of chain lengths with Catherine’s jewellery. I have quite a short neck, which the shorter chains she uses tends to emphasise. A minor comment and does not detract from a beautiful and versatile piece of jewellery. I’ve been wearing it non-stop since receiving it. Thanks for your wonderful creativity.

I bought this necklace in Oxidised Silver when I first discovered Catherine's jewellery. I couldn't resist the delicate modelling of the acorn and oak leaf and always feel a sense of nature's peace and calm when I wear it.
