Designer's Notes
The inspiration for my Bee Collection was a beautiful poem by former Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy in which the sound of the words evokes the buzz and plenty given us by this wonderful creature. The wings of the design fall apart when you turn it upside down, an idea I got from thinking of the lotus flower that is one of the sources the bees in the poem visit to collect pollen.
