Designer’s notes
I love the intricacy of antique lace and the way it was used historically in the form of ruffs and cuffs to embellish clothing. For this piece, I wanted to create a pendant that drew on the intricacy and delicacy of this wonderful fabric but gave it a contemporary twist. I think it works equally well to dress up a plain shirt or to provide a striking neckline for a party outfit.
